Update on Elder Miller

Ciao Tutti!

So it has been way too long since i have written to my Blog. So i have alot of catching up to do! First I love the mission! I love doing the Lords Work here in Italy everyday! And i dont know if i told this, but im now in Milano! The capital of my mission, and like the second or third biggest city in Italy! and it is exactly that... a big city! I live in the area called the Navigli, because there are some old canals that Leonardo Davinco built a long time ago, and they run through my part of the city! so those two streets in my area are really nice and famous! lots of nice shops and people, but... the rest of my area is known as the ghetto haha so it reminds me of Ancona a bit. But i love it! I have seen some pretty crazy things here on the busses and on the streets i have seen even grosser things, but all in all i love it here and all the people! I have been here 3 months, and just got my second companion here in Milano. My first comp was named Anziano Rutter. He was great! a ton of energy and just a ton of fun! i will miss him, but he will be a rock star one day so im glad i was his comp so i can get free tickets! Now i have a new companion named Anziano Orso. He has an amazing story and is an amazing missionary. He is a recent convert of 2 years, and is the only member in his entire family! he is from a city called surprise arizona, and is a little younger than me in the mission! already he has taught em so much and i look up to how strong he is especially for being so new in the church! Other fun news, its Saldi again so everyone is shopping and everything is really cheap! i love it! haha. The work here has been a little slower than i like, but thats because its cold and there has been a ton of holidays lately, and italians dont do anything on holidays itss pretty great! The holidays for me were amazing! i spent alot of time with the members here in Milano. They treat me like a son and feed me sooo much haha! they are all great! And i also got to see my family on skype! I love my family so much and am so blessed to have such a wonderful family that supports and loves me like they do! Im excited to be here longer in Milan because i still feel like i need to do more here!

On that note we had a really cool miracle yesterday actually! so ill explain the miracle and maybe explain more about the mission life here in milan. So last week we received a referal for this man. So i called him almost imediately to make an appointment. Originally he wanted to meet saturday, but i wanted to meet earlier so i asked him if we could meet wednesday instead. He relluctantly agreed. So when we showed up yesterday it turns out it was his birthday, so i kinda felt a little wierd at first. it turns out this man was raised in the church in Peru and all his family was baptized except him...He has been here in Italy for 22 years and has never met the missionaries here in italy. He explained how he really just wants to change his life, and was conced that we were her to change his life. The cool part or the miracle part was that while we were there, he called his mom to tell her that we were with him. when she heard that we were there, she started to cry right away. she said that she had been praying all this week that his son would be able to find the church, cause she and her family are strong members. SO she explained that for his birthday the only thing she prayed for was for missionaries to find him. So there we were... on his birthday... just like his mom had been praying for. he passed me the phone so i could talk to her, but turns out i dont understand spanish haha but although i could not understand her, i felt the spirit so stron through the phone. I knew that we were answers to her prayers and i could feel her love for her son and for us! It was such a cool experience for me! I know that god aswers prayers! ive never been such a direct answer to someones prayer, but it confers to me that this is the lords work! We are excited to work with this man and his wife, and they both seemed soo happy to meet with us and just alk to us! I am so thankfull for all the prayers all over the world, and all the members! like i said, i know God answers prayers! I know he is aware of each and everyone of us. And i know he wants us to be happy!

ok im not sure what else i can write. Ill be better at keeping my blog updated, if anything for me so i can remember more of my mission. Because i love this mission! i love being here in Italy! and i love this gospel! Keep praying everyone!

I love you all!

Ciao!
