Ciao Familia e camici! I miss you all!
so this week has once again jam packed with information and events! I continue to learn more language everyday, or atleast try to! Its hard, but i Love it so much! I can honestly say im understanding a good amount of the italian the teachers speak. like 3 weeks and i think i have learned more than all my years of spanish! id like to say its all me and my hard work, but i know its not. This place is really an amazing place where the spirit and gods hand is helping everyone so much! especially me! i am so thankful for everything that i have and this amazing opportunity! I cant wait to go to Italy and help those people, it really is what i am working so hard for. ok so first ill tell you some small things, umm... my companion is still great! seriously he is captain america! i think he is fluent in italian already, and hes singing in church this sunday! he does it all... haha its funny! im very humbled, but im so grateful for this companionship! the Sorella in my district are really awesome! 3 of them are seriously exactly like my sisters... its weird! they are great though, they have such a strong testimony and an strong spirit! I love it! my teachers are great too, im older than one of them by 2 years which is kind of funny, but he is really good at italian so im glad i have him! ok thats all the small things. the big things... We had conference this weekend! it was really really awesome! everything was directly pointed at missionary work and obbedience. atleast thats what i got out of it. but im bias. Elder Holland talk was so good! go look it up! its the best and so inspiring! plus i was around 3000 other missionaries so it was probably the coolest general conference i have ever had. the other cool thing about this weekend was after conference on sunday we had a devotional like usual, but this one was really cool cause we had the singing group "vocal point" come sing for us. i dont know who they are, but it was awesome! it was like mormon pitch perfect! i wish i could sing haha. although side note, i love singing in italian! it just sounds better than english! i think i sound better too. but yeah vocal point was awesome! the other cool thing that happened this week was we did really well on our lessons, these lessons are just practice and fake fyi, but i still love them! but the really cool thing was that we commited ours to baptism! on the second lesson! the spirit was so strong! and it felt so real! it makes me so excited to go to Italy and bring those people this gospel and allow them to discover the amazing joy that is this church! christs church! and then i think how cool it will be when i get to bring an italian to baptism! idk.... it just sounds like the coollest thing ever! ok im done i think! i dont know what else to say. i heard louisville won the NCAA, BOOO! i cant beilieve i didnt watch any of it, first time for everything! Duke is still the best team. oh and i think the great gatsby came out this week too, i bet it was good! im slightly jealous but not really! ok i love you all so much! Io so che questo chiesa e vero!
